Registration fees and Tuition Fees
We require an annual registration fee of $30 per dancer, $10 for each additional sibling for families. For those on dance team, Stargazer dues are $50 and $25 for each additional sibling. All registration fees and dues are non-refundable.

Please note: Tuition is based on the 9 month full season regardless of how many weeks are in any given month. Classes will average out in the end.

The above tuition does not include the registration fee, dancewear, shoes, costumes, recital fee, private lessons, or special events.
Costs for Nielsen School of Dance costumes
At Nielsen School of Dance, all costumes are well made, stylish and modest. In order to keep prices as low as possible, costumes must be paid in full by Dec 15th of every year. Dancers are required to have one costume for each type of dance taken.

We accept cash, checks and credit cards for tuition payments which are due by the 7th of the month. Please write your child’s name in the memo portion of your check if using personal check to pay. Fill out an envelope (located near the front door) and drop it in our locked payment box. If you pay with cash, please ask for a receipt and we will provide one. To keep costs as low as possible, all bills are required to be paid the month they are due. Any student with outstanding balances more than 60 days may be suspended until balances are paid. All costs are subject to change
Discount dancewear and shoes available
Nielsen School of Dance offers dancewear and shoes for individual purchase at any time during the school year. Class attire and shoe requirement costs are provided at registration.
Media release, insurance and cancellation policy information
Here at Nielsen School of Dance we document each year in videos and pictures. These images remain the property of the Nielsen School of Dance. We also do not carry medical insurance for students. All dancers must be covered by their own policies and a liability waiver is required at registration.
There is also a 30 day cancellation policy. Nielsen School of Dance must receive an email indicating the child's name and the class to be dropped. 30 days from the receipt of that email the student will be dropped from the class. Any fees accrued during that time must be paid. Unfortunately, costume deposits are non-refundable. Once costumes are ordered they are unable to be returned.
